Advanced Inflammation Scanning in Yandina

Dr Kassis scanning patientPain doesn’t always tell the whole story. If you’re dealing with ongoing aches, working through an injury, or simply want a clearer picture of what’s happening beneath the surface, the Thermpix Inflammation Scan may provides additional information. It measures physiological heat patterns that may be associated with inflammation, offering a deeper perspective.

How Thermal Imaging Reveals Your Body’s Inflammation Patterns

The Thermpix scan uses thermal imaging to measure temperature patterns across the body. Certain patterns may be associated with underlying physiological processes, including inflammation, helping our team at The Balanced Chiropractic Centre determine whether any areas warrant closer clinical assessment. The process itself is quick, comfortable and non-invasive.

It’s worth being clear about what it isn’t, though: thermography measures physiological heat patterns and is used as an adjunctive assessment, not a standalone diagnostic test.

Who This Scan May Offer Useful Insight For

Practice members choose to include a Thermpix scan for all sorts of reasons. These include:

  • Joint pain and stiffness
  • Arthritis and inflammatory joint conditions
  • Sports injuries
  • Tendon, ligament and muscle strains
  • Back and neck pain
  • Chronic or persistent pain
  • Swelling and soft tissue inflammation
  • Repetitive strain injuries
  • Recovery after injury or surgery
  • Monitoring healing over time

If any of these sound familiar, the scan may provide additional information that helps guide further clinical assessment where appropriate.
